XDS Credit Bureau is Nigeria's first licensed credit bureau and offers independent and comprehensive credit information reporting services in Nigeria. It is part of an emerging continental brand that is committed to designing and deploying solutions that turn data into strategic tools for better decisioning.

The company was incorporated as XDS Solutions Limited in May, 2005 with RC. No 623, 894 and having satisfied the conditions for the grant of a credit bureau license under the Central Bank of Nigeria Act, No. 7 of 2007, was granted license in May 2009 to operate a credit bureau in Nigeria.

Information Services

Subscribers to the XDS credit bureau can carry out search on the company’s database to authenticate the identity and contact details of prospective customers. Information available includes names, identification document, addresses etc.

Consumer Credit Report

The Report contains information on a consumer’s demographic, credit history and public records. It gives a total picture of how an individual meets his or her financial obligations and enables a credit grantor assess the credit worthiness of a prospective consumer.

Data Enrichment Services

Using specialized data cleaning software developed by Xpert Decision Systems of South Africa, the company is able to enhance data quality of organizations. The software identifies and corrects the problems in data sources whilst addressing the processes that created the poor data. The objective here is the provision of a platform that transforms raw data into consistent, accurate, and reliable corporate information.

X Score

Using specially developed analytic tools, the records of credit active individuals are aggregated and made available as a score (X- Score) that accelerates a prospective lenders decisioning process.
