Lagos State is situated in the south western part of Nigeria. The indigenes of Lagos State are Yoruba and their religions are a combination of Christianity and Islam.
Lagos State stretches along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and a large part of it consists of lagoons and creeks. The State is one of the smallest states in Nigeria which has one of the highest populations in Nigeria.
