Plateau State is situated in the central part of Nigeria. Although Plateau state has over 40 ethnic groups. Major languages spoken are Berom, Angas, Gomai, Taroh with Hausa amongst others. In terms of religion, the people of Plateau State are a mixture of Christians and Moslems.Agricultural products in Plateau State include potatoes, groundnut, vegetables, fruits, yams. The cool weather climate also allows for the successful growing of other crops found in Europe including strawberries, cucumber, broccoli etc.
